Our next reading is on Wed June 15 at 8pm. It features Devin Johnston (from St Louis, USA) as well as Adrian Caesar (Canberra) and Nicola Bowery (Braidwood).
Devin Johnston is the author of five books of poetry including Far-Fetched (Farrar, Straus and Giroux, 2015). He has also published Creaturely and Other Essays, meditations on the natural world. He currently works for Flood Editions, a nonprofit publishing house, and teaches at Saint Louis University in Missouri, USA.
Nicola Bowery’s most recent collection is married to this ground (Walleah Press, 2014), and her prior books are Goatfish (2007) and Bloodwood (1996). She lives on 115 acres near Braidwood, NSW.
Adrian Caesar is a Canberra writer. He is the author of several works of non-fiction, including The White (Picador, 1999) which won the Victorian Premier’s Award for non-fiction in 2000 and the ACT Book of the year in 2000. He has also published a novel, The Blessing (Arcadia, 2015) and five books of poetry, the most recent being Dark Cupboards New Rooms (Shoestring Press, 2014).
