Slip on your fancy dress, get the curlers out and dive back into the 50’s.
Join Canberra Modern and University House for a night of mid-century inspired dishes and fantastic entertainment at the ‘Modernist Dinner’ held in the Great Hall on Saturday 13 April. Expect the unexpected and prepare for some unique 50’s food creations. Think moulded forms of Jell-O and mousse, combined with colourful and rather unique pairings of produce.
Featuring award winning artist, Trevor Dickinson, well known for his iconic Canberra bus-stop images, who will deliver an entertaining keynote address.
The night will be hosted by Australia’s very own Ms. Modernism, Annalisa Cappuro, a regular at Palm Spring Modernism Week.
Canberra’s big band In Full Swing will provide the music and guests are encouraged to dress the part.
