Boffins – elegant dining from fixed and à la carte menus, in the quiet sophistication of University House.

Lunch – Monday to Friday from 12pm to 2pm

Dinner – Monday to Sunday from 6pm to 9pm

The Chef

ANSHUL CHANDNA, joined us in March 2012, bringing with him hospitality experience and culinary knowledge of over 12 years acquired in various five star hotels and celebrated restaurants that include Taj hotels-India ; Thistle(Park hotels) and Marriott England,U.K; Westin Palm Springs-California,U.S.A. and Westin Sydney, Australia.

Anshul is also credited with opening and establishing a new function Centre and Kitchen at the National Gallery of Australia in 2010.

Born in India, he always felt he was destined to be a Chef. Both of his working parents were inspirational cooks at home, as well as his beautiful wife Shweta, who claims to be the Master Chef of Indian cuisine.

With itchy feet, he went on to train and equip himself with skills in various cuisines like Indian, European, Italian, Mediterranean, Mexican, Tex-Mex and modern Australian, which are often fused by him to create distinguished recipes and menus.

In his own words "the credit for the professional I am today goes to the opportunities I had in working at such wonderful places with such gifted and talented chefs ,who always went that extra mile to bring the best out in me, and I think it's my turn now to pass it on to my team.

Passionate about food and service, he believes that being a chef is like being a creator, putting life to things that people enjoy and experience." In his style he mentions "My food is all about using fresh produce combined with healthy ingredients, blended with the repertoire of spices and herbs, cooked with most basic methods and earthy techniques to create fulfilling meal experiences".
